Golden Hair is a 2004 cooked pu'er cha mini cake of 200 grams. This cooked pu-erh golden

hair cake is comprised of "jing pin" quality leaves which have more buds than usual, and an exceptional high degree of tenderness. This tea is perfect for someone beginning to drink higher quality pu'ers because of its smaller size, high quality leaves, and five year age.

The tea is from Li Ming Tea factory, and carries two of its brand labels. The first is Ba Jiao Ting, which translates into "Octagonal Pavilion" and refers to a famous pavilion in Xishangbanna, the region of Yunnan where this tea is grown. The pavilion itself is also the site of "Message in a Bottle", the Dai Minority tragedy in which a message floating in a gourd arrives by the small river below the pavilion and saves the town, though it also leads to the princess and her husband being killed. The second brand is Kong Que Zhi Xiang, which means Peacock's Village. This is another area in Yunnan that is famous for having an abundance of peacocks.

On the front of the wrapper is a "green product" seal, a new official certification given to food products that meet Chinese standards for environmental protection.
