Belonging to a special category of tea often called milk oolong, our jin xuan is another example of a fine Taiwanese Oolong. However, this milk oolong tea

is even more special and unique than that. This particular tea gives a hint of “nai xiang,” or milk aroma. The first three cups of this milk oolong will release this enchanting scent, whereas the next three will gradually give way to the inherent flavor of jin xuan oolong tea, a half-fermented tea with the boldness of black tea and the crispness of green tea.

This is a relatively new process in Chinese tea, and has been greatly lauded by all those who have tasted the results. The character for Xuan in jin xuan oolong (different from the one of our lovely founder, also named Xuan) comes from a kind of grass that is said has the ability to make people forget all their worries. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that drinking one cup of this tea will do just that.
